Who is your favourite superhero? Batman? Ironman? Superman? Whoever he or she be, they sure possess some of the greatest powers that we can only wish we had. Lifting tons of weight, being immortal, being super strong or flying, whatever the power is, only a fool would not want such a power. Even if it is just science fiction and everything happens in the movies, we as humans have evolved for using stones to knives. We may never know when a radioactive spider may bite a human and he may turn into the Spiderman. In short, we never know when someone might discover a supernatural power, and we as humans will have to be ready to handle such powers.
Firstly, when we think about it, we only focus on how the superhero will use his power to destroy the bad guys and end wars and terrorism. We focus on how that power will be used to save the people during an earthquake or stop a speeding train with its brakes failed. Since this is how it is shown in the movies. But they also show how some of the wicked minds try to use the same power for selfish reasons and that is how it will be in reality as long as humans live without humanity. However strong or weak the power is, if used for selfish reasons, it will only bring desolation along its way.
If a supernatural power is discovered, all the powerful nations will bicker among themselves about who should possess such a power. Not just the leaders of the nations, the criminal organizations and terrorist organization around the globe will start planning some devious act to obtain such power. Maybe the power is used for good and bring justice to the people who deserve it, but with great power, comes greater responsibilities. It is now difficult to justify what we may face if such powers are invented, but one fact remains certain, which is it will either be used to bring great positive change in the world and bring peace and order, or it will eventually end up bringing this world to its bitter end. This is a thought that we can only imagine until someday the power is invented and we can experience the fictional movies practically.
